Time: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Dr. Keiko Miyadera, a veterinary ophthalmologist and genetic researcher, is offering a complimentary eye exam and PRA genetic testing in collaboration with the ESS Foundation and AKC-CHF.
Springers of particular interest are:
– Affected dogs and related dogs (e.g., littermate) for repeat or new exams.
– New dogs not DNA tested but have the chance of being Affected.
– Any dog with eye/vision concerns.
(“Affected” here means genetically affected, having two copies of a variant in the gene RPGRIP1.)
Please bring your dog’s pedigree and study form to participate in the PRA study. A link for sign up is provided below and a sign up will also be available at Show Central.
