CH Trailwind’s Blind Trust CDX RE MH AX OAJ

– Faith –
Owned by Randy Capsel and Cheryl L. Clark

Faith has always been a very willing to please dog, which has made her training and competing very enjoyable. While Faith’s enthusiasm and willingness made training enjoyable, her enthusiasm coupled with her wanting to try her best, did not always yield the most accurate or desired outcomes. However, you could always be assured she made sure everyone was aware she was enjoying the work.

As a young puppy it was evident Faith would go about her activities with enthusiasm and was able to learn very quickly. Her biggest hurdle to overcome through the years was always competing with two or three other dogs for training and competition time. In addition, taking time off for two litters did add further limitations.

Her favorite venues continue to be hunting tests and obedience, but throughout the years she has also participated in field trial puppy stakes, conformation, agility, and is starting per path in tracking with great joy. A very proud moment in her career was when she became the first champion/master hunter bitch in the breed. Coupled with this is the pride that her son Bounder has achieved the same champion/master hunter combination, proving her ability to pass along the true versatility of the breed. This accomplishment also makes Faith and Bounder the first dam/offspring combination to achieve a breed championship coupled with a master hunter title.

While Faith is adamant about spending lap time whenever possible, this by no means indicates in any fashion she does not what to be active outside of those moments. No matter the training or activity being conducted she is sure to insist she should be a part of it each time.

Faith has show tremendous versatility thought her career, and continues to do so not only in her own accomplishments and spirit, but also in her offspring. It is a very proud moment to own an English Springer Spaniel which encompasses the breed standard as Faith does.
